Auto-Bidder is your best ally to help you win auctions!

Auto-Bidder helps you bid, even when you are not in front of your computer. Once Auto-Bidder has been set up, it will help you bid automatically on your behalf, according to rules you set in advance.

The Auto-Bidder is very smart and will only bid within your chosen range at the very last second. This increases your chances of winning over a user bidding manually.

How to set up Auto-Bidder

It is easy to set up Auto-Bidder. There are only three parameters to set.

Auto-Bidder

You only need to set (1) the lower limit price, (2) the upper limit price and (3) number of bids

(1) The lower limit is the lowest bid price at which your Auto-Bidder will start bidding to.
Eg. You set the lower limit at $15. Assuming you are not the last bidder for a 15 cent auction, your Auto-Bidder will kick in when the Bid Price is at $14.85, bringing the bid price to $15.00, your lower limit.

(2) The upper limit is the highest bid price at which your Auto-Bidder will bid to.
Eg. You set the upper limit at $17. Assuming you are not the last bidder for a 15 cent auction, your Auto-Bidder will not kick in when the Bid Price is at $16.95.

(3) Number of Bids is the number of Tokens you set aside for the Auto-Bidder to bid for you in your respective range. Please ensure you set enough Tokens to support your Auto-Bidder ranges.

Please note that your Auto-Bidder will stop bidding for you when either, your upper limit has been reached or, the number of Tokens you set aside has been used up.

There are however some restrictions to the Auto-Bidder:-
・The lowest number of bids you can set in the Auto-Bidder is 2 bids.
・The upper limit must be at least $1 above the current highest bid
・The upper limit must be at least $0.50 above the lower limit.

How Auto-Bidder Works - Single User Scenario

Assume there is only one user using the Auto-Bidder.

When the bid range is between your lower limit price and upper limit price, and there is less than 10 seconds left in the auction timer, Auto-Bidder will kick in at a random point between 0 and 10 seconds.
*If you are the highest bidder at the time, Auto-Bidder will not kick in.

After Auto-Bidder bids, the bid amount will increase in the same way as a normal auction. The auction timer will be extended by up to 20 seconds.

By making the timing of the Auto-Bidder random between 0-10 seconds, Auto-Bidder will make it difficult for other bidders to guess your bid timing, ensuring the most effective use of your token.

How Auto-Bidder Works - Multiple User Scenario

If there are more than two users using Auto-Bidder, then all of the valid automatic bids for the price range will kick in at the same time within the 0 to 10 seconds remaining time

Bid price will increase by the total number of the bids.

An Example - 3 Bidders using auto bidders and sets the following constraints:-

Bidder A: Price Range $1.00 - $2.50, number of bids 5
Bidder B: Price Range $1.00 - $3.00, number of bids 10
Bidder C: Price Range $1.15 - $3.00, number of bids 10

Current price of product: $1.00
Timer: 5 secs

The following bids will all kick in simultaneously in the following order:-

A:$1.15
B:$1.30
C:$1.45
A:$1.60
B:$1.75
C:$1.90
A:$2.05
B:$2.20
C:$2.35
A:$2.50
B:$2.65
C:$2.80
B:$2.95

(Either Bidder A or Bidder B will be the starting bid. This is randomly determined.)

Total number of bids: 13

Auto-Bidder

The price will go up by $1.95 (13 * $0.15 = $1.95) and timer increases by 4 mins 20 secs (13 * 20 secs = 2 mins 20 secs).

New Price: $2.95
New Timer: 4 mins 25 secs. Please note that the timer will extend to a MAXIMUM of 2 hours.

How to Win a Bid using Auto-Bidder?

Auto-Bidder is most effective when other bidders are not using it.

You can check the auction detail page and look at recent bid history. Bid history will tell you if the other bidders are bidding manually or using the Auto-Bidder.

This way you can decide when to use Auto-Bidder more effectively.
